Sláinte!
It was just going to be one of those trips across the pond to a new country that I would do once. Been there, done that, done. However upon arriving back in the US of A, I found myself not only smiling at the memories and mental photos of my trip, but job hunting for a possible move. Yes, I would go back, which I honestly did not imagine myself saying. So, as the tourism board of Ireland describes it, Ireland has a charm that is inevitable to fall for.
As for Scotland, I was able to affirm the origins of my quick wit, dry humor and cherry-wood highlights. This lush green country is rich with history and not short of castles and museums to explore. Robert the Bruce. William Wallace. Enough said.
Words just won't do justice to the natural beauty and peace that Ireland and Scotland have to offer. So I will leave it to visuals to convey the charm, tranquility and rich history that are Ireland and Scotland. Sláinte!
